Silver- plated water pitchers in very good condition!!! The
Pilgrim Silver Co. pitcher
measures 8 1/2" and has an "ice lip" to catch ice
cubes. It has three small spots on the inside bottom of the
well where water probably stood....nothing visible on the
outside. It rests on four feet with an acanthus motif on feet
and handle. Pilgrim Silver was made by the Friedman Silver Co.
in Brooklyn, NY prior to 1940. This piece is $159.
The Empire
Silver Co. pitcher is a
colonial style. It measures 8 1/4" with a pedestal
foot. It has a very wide mouth and lip on top. (no ice
catcher). This piece is $189.
